  • What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
mens fashion is a passion of mine and I love an opportunity to meet new people. However, my favorite part of helping people find their style is seeing the joy and confidence that comes with looking sharp. I believe that when we look our best, we often feel our best as well. and when we feel our best I believe we also tend to perform at our best. that why our motto at Sartorial is “Look Good. Feel Good. Do Good.”
  • About me
Growing up in a near west side suburb of Cleveland I have always loved the idea of city life and, as such, my wife and I have enjoyed living downtown for nearly 10 years now.

I spent much of my early career between the hospitality industry and real estate (RE) before enlisting in the Marine Corps in 2008 when the RE market crashed. I served from 2008-12, including a trip to Afghanistan in 2010, under 3 primary job titles: field radio operator, multiplexor operator (large data radio), and Marine Corps Instructor of Water Survival (MCIWS).

After being honorably discharged in Oct. 2012, I was enrolled at Ohio State Univeristy by Jan 2013 where I earned my undergraduate degree in Securtiy and Intelligence and a minor in Arabic language. Shortly after completing my degree at OSU I was fortunate to be selected for a prestigious program through Rotary International known as the Rotary Peace Fellowship. This selection provided a full ride scholarship to University of Bradford, in Bradford England, where I earned a Master’s Degree in Conflict Resolution. As a requirement of this program I also completed an “applied field experience” (AFE) where I had the incredible opportunity to work with Nobel Peace Prize nominated organization Combatants for Peace in Israel/Palestine.

After graduating at the end of 2018 I returned to Cleveland. It was during my time in England the the concept for a retail/entertainment venue was born but it wasn’t till I was back home that I really started to let my ideas run wild. I spent the next couple years working in community development and sales roles, but all the while was putting together a business plan, a capital package, and using my real estate experience to narrow down viable locations. Since then I’ve been fortunate to secure an amazing location at 3929 Lorain Ave and we are preparing to begin our much needed renovation of this former gem. With an ambitious construction schedule we are hoping to be able to open doors for Sartorial CLE this fall!

While we will have a diverse selection of off the rack options once the brick and mortar location is open, I do currently offer custom fittings for suits, jackets, trousers etc. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like a free style consultation!
